Bad Habits - A Good Read For All

Hi, I'm THParent. I like to hear gossip at parties. I have been gossip-free for 17 days.
 
I've noticed my son is taller than me. Does this mean I am comparing myself to others? :rolleyes:
 
Just tell yourself you are incomparable and that sidesteps any pesky issues.
 
I was notified not once or twice but three times that @Capt MJ had posted on SAF. Though I was in bed, I pulled up this post and read it. I tried to say no, but gave in to my impulses and did it anyway. And 16 minutes later, I found myself surfing prodigiously — mainly the seemingly endless bacon thread. Not good, I know. But at least not as bad as my toxic “friend” from high school. Aaargh!
 
I earned a C in “Religious Aptitude” and “C” in Effort in my Catholic grade school. Perhaps I am still trying to overcome that by posting here.
 
I'm like a broken toilet...No Flow. Gotta get back to work, gotta get back to work...after I check the bacon thread.
 
Rumor is the SAF founders and moderators are considering a spin-off, tentatively named Bacon Analysis Forum. Anticipating separate threads for each SA, as I’m sure the bacon scene, requirements, expectations, policies, etc., are different for all.
 
I'm starting to get a little misty.
 
We are all going to remember 2019 as The Year of The Bacon Thread. Look, it’s taken root here and gotten mentions elsewhere.
 
We need t-shirts. It’s a movement.
 
Awesome, it comes in Marine Corps colors! Does it come in Navy colors also?

I enjoy a good gossip. Like anything else, it should be done in moderation. More importantly, it shouldnt be hate. I dont go around each day dealing with gossip, but when it comes up , it usually a lot of fun.
