Good morning all, hope you are safe and healthy. DS was not fortunate enough to win a National Scholarship this cycle. However, he was very pro-active with the ROO at his #1 choice school and made a 7 hour round-trip drive in February to introduce himself face-to-face and deliver his portfolio (transcripts, test scores, resume, letters of recommendation, etc.). Upon reviewing his portfolio the ROO asked if he could stay, grabbed the PMS (not the one my son interviewed with during the National process) and the PMS conducted an impromtu interview. The PMS told DS that if he wasn't awarded a National Scholarship that he'd put him on the Battalion OML for a 3-year AD Scholarship as he thought my son was scholarship worthy.
On April 1st, true to is word, the ROO emailed asking for an updated resume and mid-year transcripts so he could put DS on the Battalion OML as they were expecting additional scholarship allocations from the Army. My question is this - is their a resource available that details how many Battalion scholarships have been historically allocated to individual schools? We have both searched the internet but have come up blank.
Thanks in advance for responding and please stay healthy!
