BCG vs Contacts

I have noticed in looking at all the picture on Facebook of Plebe summer that there are several that have the BCG( birth control glasses) on. Are you not allowed to wear your contacts?

Oh! and what does MOC stand for. There are so many abbreviations for words on here and I am stumped with that one.
 
BCGs are required during plebe summer (so no contacts).

MOC is Member of Congress. There's a list of acronyms around here somewhere...
 
And NJbaseball, MOC refers to your Members of Congress, meaning your two US Senators from your state and the US Representative from the district where you live, these are the people you should be contacting and requesting nominations from in order to be eligible to recv an appointment to a Service Academy.
