I’m attending bears day in a month and wanted to ask about meeting the swim coach. I’m a competitive swimmer and wanted to know if it’s best to reach out to the CGA swim coach prior to attending bears day? Should I try to speak with the coach or the admissions? Thank you

When DD was going through the recruiting process, for SA, as well as more traditional colleges, she filled out the forms on each college or SA site saying she was interested. In addition, she had a "be recruited" site and sent lots of personal e-mails/phone calls to the coaches gathering the contact information from the sport page. She participates in a more unique sport, so e-mailing coaches directly worked well. She was persistent and often had to send multiple follow-up e-mails to the coaches, but it paid off for her.
