Navy resoundingly defeated the 10th ranked Division I defensive team in the country today 41-17, gaining over 600 total yards in the process. Air Force barely held on to defeat lowly New Mexico, victims of an embarassing Division I-AA defeat to Portland State, before finally, using the rarified air of their home field "advantage" , putting New Mexico away in the fourth quarter. They will definitely need more than this to put away Navy next Saturday.

GO NAVY, BEAT THE ZOOMIES

Right...

Barely held on to a 17 point advantage, leading the whole time...

Only pulling more than a single touchdown ahead in the 4th quarter, when the Lobos, gasping for breath, subsided. Another Air Force home field advantage.

i will be at this game:smile:

i wont know who to root for though. i havent chosen which branch to go in to (AKA neither Academy has given me an appointment)

There's only ONE Academy, then's there's the rest.

I'm glad that you can accept being part of the rest with dignity, USNA69!:shake:

Go Air Force!

It's the "One" Academy that starts the traditions (for the Academy wanabees out in Colorado) and keeps them alive (for the woops up on the Hudson)

Beat Airforce, then Beat Army

the navy exists pretty much in support of the hudson woops :p you shipwrecks :D

Chip, Hopefully someday you will realize that football is only a game and once you graduate, you will become a part of a huge military "fraternity". We're all there for the same objective, working closely together, supporting each other, knowing that without the full and total support of any single one of us, the mission is impossible. Don't confuse a game with the security and well being of our country.

I know, we all wear the same flag on our uniforms. Just fun to horse around a bit.

The CINC trophy is coming home......to AF. Sink Navy!

Nope, once again, Fischer DeBerry's trophy case will be missing the big one. Keep it in Annapolis where it belongs. :thumb:

Gonna be in Colorado springs to watch the navy shoot down the air force.

Shoud be a great game. Probably be a nailbiter though.

I had tickets to the game, unfortunately other things came up (darn work!) so I'm unable to go. But I was still smart and passed my tickets on to a chief I worked with at DoDMERB. I wasn't about to hand them over to an Air Force supporter!

Go Navy, Beat Army! (and Air Force!)

That's why it's always the Marines who land first.

Right behind the SEALs, of course...
