My DD and I were wondering that very same thing. As Navy enlisted, can you apply and be appointed to West Point and have your enlistment contract cancelled/transferred? I know you can to the Naval Academy but does it cross service lines?
USMA1994, I used to think you are cool, but not anymore! You know how much we like your presence over here? Its good to see that you now understand the error in your ways by enlisting in the navy. If you ain't Cav, You ain't Sh....
Now, you also mentioned on the forum you did not get the support you need a year ago. For the record (and your fans here), did you only apply to class of '19 and '21?I'm a two timer. If denied I'll be a three, and if then again, a fourth.
@CTNope, I think you predicted this a while back:

Rgr that. It was never completed so technically you applied twice...
When you said you knew exactly what you need to improve, I guess you spoke with the Chief?
Press on "Legend", you can do this! You have everyone on this forum pulling for you!Because I find the admissions process so fun, I'll be reapplying in a few months.
I know exactly what I need to do to get accepted. Stay tuned folks.
Forth time's the charm... Right?
I do meet the requirements.@CTNope, do you meet their age requirement?
"Soldiers, like all candidates must not be older than 22 years of age on July 1st of the year entering West Point (21 on July 1 of the year entering the Prep School)."

CTNope, did you reach out to your USMA RC in admissions yet? Do you need me to look him up for you and PM you the number? Because you are in and because you are overseas, you will be followed closely through the process. Might as well get those first questions answered so you can strategize.
You have time--and because my #3 is waiting on his appointment there, I know that they are still slammed while trying to build the incoming class. I know you are on the far side of the world and have to work and have to sleep. The majority of my students at USU are from the Navy--and were sailors (seamen, chiefs, corpsmen) before they commission through IPP (mostly they completed their bachelors through on line degree programs) and come to us for their masters--so I am keenly aware of the difficulties of being enlisted and trying to pull everything together.
