Does anyone (midshipman/parent/academy personnel) have experience with a Bee allergy DQ/Waiver? My son has a Principal nomination and is fully qualified except for a bee allergy. On "I" day he will be 5 months/5 shots short of the 3 years of immunity shots. I can't imagine that he would not get a waiver for this but I would like to hear from someone who has some experience with this medical issue. Thanks for your help.

My son got a waiver for it from USAFA, and I'm pretty sure USNA. (I know USMA denied it.) He still gets his allergy shots at the academy now. He did a special program of shots to speed up immunity and the allergist submitted a lengthy letter for him showing the stats of his likelihood of a reaction now compared to general population.
