Seeming as though USCG is part of homeland security and not dept of defense is there a difference in retirement/active benefits compared to other branches?

Language in armed services/uniformed services law is usually inclusive regarding the Coast Guard, and usually NOAA and USPHS, the other uniformed services. Occasionally there are hiccups.
