LOL --must be the same boating accident I had .. Another thing I don't understand is the desire to post pics of all the guns you own.

This isn't funny for seniors. I had my first synchronous session with my odd day students yesterday and had some emotional moments with a couple seniors. I've thought about them and the impact of not going back to school but yesterday drove home the reality of this event on their lives.

That's the mascot of my school. The school was built in the middle 80s when it combined two other high schools. They were working to come up with mascot and school colors and whatnot and being how most schools here have alliterative nicknames, they came up with Wolverines. The man who told me this story just retired after 40 years with the district. He said the one who came up with the name thought of it because of the movie. I will not watch any re-make of a Swayze film. Not Red Dawn. Not Road House. Not Point Break. Not any of them.
