Best time to apply

I’m a junior this year but wanted to ask if it’s best to apply to the CGA as a junior or wait till I’m a senior? I see that a few people have said they applied in their junior year. Thank you

Applications for USCGA do not open as early as some of the other SAs. Usually applications are not open til July or August before your senior year. (It has varied the past couple years)
However, if you are a junior now then I would encourage you to apply for AIM, which is USCGA's summer program specifically for students between their junior and senior year. Applications for AIM 2022 will open in Feb 2022.
