For a while, we thought this day would never come, but my daughter's medical waiver was finally approved today! She was one of the first to receive an LOA last September, and received her MOC nomination in December, so the CGO and her BGO have both confirmed that a big, blue binder will soon find its way to our house!

Many thanks to all of you who have given us public and private support. For any of you aiming for the class of 2013 or later, if you really want to attend an academy, DO NOT GIVE UP until you have tried everything possible (and legal) to make your case as strong as possible. :thumb:

I forgot to ask - how do I take the question mark off my screen name???:shake:

Congratulations..........
Party at your house tonight!
See you on I-Day!

Thanks, Teddy!

Is anyone planning to be around DTA on I-day minus 1? It would be fun to meet the plebes/parents who have so far only been screen names to us.

Awesome 2012mom! Congrats to the Plebe to be & you! If ya thought the application process a wild ride, just wait! LOL And welcome to the world of no sleep for a while. You're gonna wake up every five minutes thinking about stuff & finding you smile & cry at the same time. ENJOY! It really is a fun time.

We are coming in the day before driving from Wisconsin....
Short trip this time...waiting for the whole family to come on PPW.
I will be the one with the box of tissues!!!!
