I'm new to this whole thing and I need some help. I just had an interview with a congressman. I was wondering when I should schedule an interview with my BGO and how I should go about doing so. Thanks

I emailed my BGO in July and had my interview then. You should schedule your BGO interview and get it done as soon as possible. How far are you into completing your file? I ask this because I was under the assumption that after a certain amount of a candidate's file is completed the BGO is required to contact him/her for the interview.

If you've completed at least 1/3 of your packet, your BGO should contact you for an interview. If he/she hasn't, you might want to contact him/her and request one. If you've not yet completed at least 1/3 of your packet, your BGO is probably waiting for you to do so. Lots of candidates never really even start, let alone finish, their applications. BGOs do have day jobs and thus focus on those candidates who have demonstrated their interest by at least turning in 3 of their 9 items.
