Hello everyone, I was appointed for the Airforce prep, and of course, I'm going very soon but I don't have my birth certificate and I've been on the waitlist to get a new one so I'm not sure what to do because I know I'm supposed to have it but I don't so what should I do ??

Call Admissions or your prep school point of contact.

And for your own future comfort, I respectfully recommend spelling Air Force as the prpud member you will soon be.

Official sources will give you the most accurate answer, as well as make them aware of this issue. Your situation won’t be a surprise to USAFAPS when you check in. Perhaps they will accept an alternate form of ID to allow you to check in, and your parents could mail the birth certificate as soon as they get it - just spitballing here.

Another recommendation which will make your life easier in your coming new life. Do not assume male military officers are the default setting. The last time I looked, the Air Force was well over 20% female, and I think that is the highest percentage of all the armed services. I appreciate your courtesy, though, so your intent and spirit were in the right place.
