Does anyone know if the Blue and Gold Interview is submitted electronically or does it have to be mailed in. Thanks!

The blue and gold officer's handle it themselves, there is no need for you to worry about how it is submitted, although I believe it is online...seeing as USNA's application is all online. As long as you get the interview done there is nothing to do but keep in contact with them if you have any questions.

Hope that helps!

BGOs submit it electronically. There is nothing for the candidate to do.

Thanks for info. My son has everything complete for his application except for his Blue and Gold interview which he had 3 weeks ago.

BGO are to submit candidate interviews in a "timely manner." Please consider that we are volunteers and if we're on a business trip this may take up to a week to submit; the date we electronically submit usually appears on the CIS within 48 hours.

Personally, it takes me about 2 hours to compose, edit, proofread and submit; it's not a quick process. There is a very specific format that we must follow to assure that all topic areas have been covered.

I understand and appreciate all that the Blue and Gold Officers do. Thanks so much. By the way what do you consider to be a timely manner?

Timely = Within a week. Personally like to get them in within 48 hours while the interview is fresh in my mind :thumb:
