Boarded/Under Consideration after the first two days of October board?

Congratulations to everyone having their status change! Not sure if I should keep obsessively refreshing my page or just give it a break yet, we’ll see!
 
Thank you. I hope you are right. Though the week before last I was "Boarded". On the 19th I was B/UC. Now I'm back at Boarded. Ah well, time will tell.
 
Can we expect changes to come to our portal throughout the week or do they all come in one day? Not sure if I should be worried mine is till B/UC...

Not sure on that one - you can go back and look at the thread from last year. If I remember correctly, most of the portals were updated over a few days.

OK. DS just got call and email for 4 Year AROTC! He was showing B/UC before the email and call. Good luck everyone. He is very excited. He wants to get to West Point desperately, but more importantly, wants to be a career Army officer. One happy kid. A heck of a plan B! :)

As a clarification, he was notified by his number one school, and told that Cadet Command will let him know officially soon.

I’d caution this. Our Brigade hasnt sent the schools the list yet.
 
So no one has been notified yet of officially receiving an offer? I'm assuming offers are spread out over the next week or so?
 
This is common. Some schools notify candidates before Cadet Command has issued the results. It's not official until cadet command notifies the candidates. Schools are not supposed to do this, but it happens every year.

One has to apply (and go to) one of the schools listed on the "school of intent" in order to get the scholarship? What if an applicant is not admitted into any of the schools on the listed, but some other school(s) not on the list?
