Brigade .5 year upgrades for MS1's with 3yr AD AROTC scholarships?

Does anyone know if Brigades have funding this year to upgrade current, high performing MS1's with 3yr AD AROTC scholarships?
 
Only your Battalion Cadre will be able to answer that question.

There are too many variables to consider:
1. Does the Battalion have the available funds
2. Does the Battalion have available contracts for the cadet's Year Group.
3. Does the Battalion have scholarship allocations that have not been used.

My son's school/Battalion made several upgrades last year in addition to 3 and 2 year scholarships, whether that will happen next year is yet to be seen.
 
My DD, an MS1, was approached by her Cadre Leader about being selected for an .50 upgrade. However, nothing in writing yet.
 
DS buddy is in the process of getting contracted. This young man has busted his butt for the last 1.5 years and is now finally getting his reward. So yes these scholarships are still out there at the unit level.

I think the OP was specifically referring to 3 year AD scholarships being upgraded to 3.5 year, which can be the most tricky to get for various reasons. Campus based scholarships in general are definitely still around, however they are centralized at the Brigade level now.
