Bringing a Prescription Topical med for Acne to Plebe Summer

I want to bring an Acne cream to Plebe Summer that was prescribed to me, but I am not sure if I am allowed to just show up with it. Is there someone/somewhere I have to mail the prescription to?
 
You are allowed to bring personal items like toiletries in your personal bag, which will be given back to you after you arrive in your company area and you will be allowed to grab anything (non prohibited items) to keep with you in your room.

However, since it's a prescription, the best advice would be to notify the academy ahead of time about your need to take it so they can let you know whether you are allowed to keep taking it during the summer or not.
 
I believe this is covered in the PTR. I think it says to bring the meds in appropriate container with note from the doctor.

Go to your Permit To Report package. Page 16.

Re-read everything in your PTR. Most answers are there.
 
DS was on Accutane and per DoDMERB, was off of it for 3 months prior to Plebe Summer. He went to I-Day and observed a kid with Accutane trying to "check it in." They threw it out. DS was a little mad because he ended the prescription early to observe the 3 months. Fortunately, it worked so well, he didn't need to use it for the whole 5 months.
