Hey guys
Just finished Brothers Forever by Tom Sileo, great book about Travis Manion and Brendan Looney, USNA Grads. Really great book, goes in depth into the incredible bond these guys had, and into how much they loved their country and families. I definitely reccomemd it. I've learned a lot from Travis and Brendan that will push me for USNA even more. If you know of any other great reads leave them below, I always love a new book to see what I can learn about great people.

Other great books I recommend
Lone survivor
Damn Few
Unbreakable
Gates of Fire
No Easy Day
The Heart and the Fist

Outstanding book. Highly recommend. When you finish it you have that same pit in your stomach / sense of awe that you likely had after watching Saving Private Ryan in the theater for the first time.

I am reading The Unforgiving Minute by Craig Mullaney. Although it is written by a West Point alumni and Army veteran, it still describes the rigors of the academy (which I assume- from the threads- is fairly similar to USNA and USAFA) as well as a thorough autobiography of a military lifestyle. I definitely recommend it :)
And good luck to everyone applying to the SA for the CO2019!! We're all on this boat (pun intended) together!

@ bpu I had that same feeling just trying to wrap my head around the whole thing, outstanding men to look up too.
@ flightsurgeon I'll definitely have to read that next! I'm going for class of 2020! Hahaha but all of us, future warriors for the USA, are on the same boat!!!

Highly recommend The Trident by Jason Redman. Amazing individual and an amazing leader that learned the hard way.

I heard that book was great, and it changed people's perspectives on a lot of different things, going to have to read it
