C-130 crash in AFG - 12 dead

God speed to them and their families.

For fencer and I this is hitting close to home. As an AF wife I know the etiquette. You do not call. I know our boys are safe, but I am waiting to hear from him sitting on pins and needles. The reason why is I know that it maybe my DSs squadron due to the rotation schedule.
~ Obviously since they have not released the names or base, I know my DS would say to me if I asked if they were from his unit: Mom, it has not been released yet, I can't answer that for you.

Thus, no need to ask.

Tail winds to them.

So very sad to hear of this accident. RIP

One More Roll

We toast our hearty comrades who have fallen from the skies, and were gently caught by God's own hand to be with him on High.

To dwell among the soaring clouds they've known so well before. From victory roll to tail chase, at heaven's very door.

As we fly among them there, we're sure to head their plea. To take care my friend, watch your six, and do one more roll for me.

My prayers go out to all the families. And a one to PIMA and Fencer specifically.

God bless them all and their families. Again, the sacrifice our military families endure is heartbreaking and I thank each and every one.

Yes, my son called in the middle of the night. Not his squadron but he knew some of the folks on board.

Prayers to all of who weep this day.

My heart aches every time I see something like this on TV and I immediately think about all the families that begin the waiting game.

Thank you to the men and women who where on the plane and their families for serving and sacrificing for our Country.
