Thanks. Yeah---this is tough for sure---but I'll go with the thought that it ultimately happened for a reason---but hard to make sense of it right at this moment. Makes the wait for USNA even worse!

Sorry to hear about the rejection.. So tough for our kids but they need to learn all about rejection as it is too common in life...C'mon USNA!!!!

I agree again d22.. Take the shot and get it over with.. May not be good news but it's news !

Rejection is good for them for sure---if the TWE arrives this week as well---he'll figure it out.

Oh, I am sorry! I hope you take some time, and when you get past the initial letdown, that you consider reapplying... My DD has already said if she does get the TWE for this year, she will reapply...... Take care!
 
DS Still hanging on in Il. Dist14. Resigned to take his NROTC/mo scholarship to CU Boulder. Met the CO over spring break and he did a great job of explaining to DS about "it's about what you want for your college experience because in the end you will all be Marine Officers". He's going to turn back his USCGA appt and his AROTC scholarship if anyone is waiting. BGO is not optimistic at this late date. Good luck to all of you and thanks for all the good info.
