CRAIGB21.........your one outstanding young man. I have worked hard my entire life, and struggled, and " took the stairs" to the top while others had elevators held for them. DO NOT give up. Your dedication up until now will get you through this let down and carry you through the next mission. Plan B is now PLAN A. Embrace it. Kick its as*. Your a winner. USNA loss is some place others gain. I have meet many supr fine US Naval Officers that attended NROTC and many didnot want the USNA. You will do great and end up in same place- which is where your suppose to be. I feel bad for all kids on here who broke their butts for this, including my own son. He is still awaiting a TWE and has mentally moved on to Plan B, a partial scholarship to a great school where he will be a College Programmer in NROTC. He is a great kid, smart, leader, and kind. His dedication will set him apart and he will succeed .
The iron left in the fire is the strongest one. Many people will get into the USNA and find that they either dont love it, or never should have attended. Thats a fact. Life is NOT fair and the strong survive.
