The Supe showed the parents the following about the C/O 25:
  • 16,265 applications
  • Every state and territory represented
  • 1,166 US and 16 International
  • 29.3% female-2nd highest in history
  • Most diverse class in history
  • 91% varsity athletes, 68% team captains
  • 64% student body leaders
 
Interesting.

The first Supe briefing started with 1,171 from the US.

I remember the target put out by USNA admissions in mid April being 1175 accepted appointments.

The Supe did mention that 4 candidates dropped last minute due to medical and other issues.
 
The numbers provided by LT360, the OP, were the same as those provided during the June 30th morning briefing.
 
Note that these were the numbers provided at the 1500H briefing on June 30th. Supe did acknowledge some movement but thought 1166 would be the final. What is typical drop out rate at end of PS? How about from PS to Commissioning?
