Parents Club Presidents,

It saddens me to inform you that we lost one of our cadets yesterday. On Monday morning, Cadet Third Class of Cadet Squadron 16, experienced a medical emergency while leaving his dormitory for class. Academy first responders were immediately called and attempted life saving measures, but they were ultimately unsuccessful. He was a standout offensive lineman on the Falcon football team and was well-respected in his squadron. The entire Air Force Academy mourns his loss, and our hearts and condolences are with his family, his squadron, and all who were touched by this incredible young man.

Yikes, there's a lineman out there from my DD's high school that very nearly matches this description. Prayers to all.

Heartbreaking. My heart is with his family, friends, teammates, and fellow cadets.

I pray for peace and comfort for his family and friends.

Truly heartbreaking. This is the second preppie this year to pass away. As a parent, I sometimes get caught on my cadets grades, performance etc. When I encounter situations like this however I just want to know that my cadet and all others are healthy and happy.
