I was reading the logging in instruction packet and saw that we must report with a ti-80 series calculator. I know that the ti-80 is a rather old calculator (mid nineties). I am just wondering if they mean any ti-80 or above calculator(up to inspire) or we must have the exact calculator specified. Thanks for any help into the matter

I think they mean to include TI-83, TI-83+, TI-84, TI-89, etc.

The n-spire calculators are not part of the TI-80 series.

TI-Series is correct, I'm not sure why though, there are no plebe classes were TI-80 series are allowed. They're nice for homework, but you won't be allowed to use them on a test for any class, you'll have to use the solar powered Casio that is mentioned in logging in, some professors also allow the TI-30.

You can have any of the regular TI's I am not sure if the inspire is allowed on exams. They sell calculators at the NEX so don't worry to much about it.
