For those of you who remember the 1960's when Roger Staubach played for Navy, I thought you may be interested reading the story of my uncle Captain Dave Sjurreud. Sadly he passed away in 2008. His funeral was memorable occasion with every living member of the navy football team in attendance along with Coach Hardin and Roger Staubach. My uncle was known as "Sugar" to his teammates.

I'm pictured on page 26 as well as my dd who will be entering the academy as a plebe next week.
I'm sure Uncle Dave would be so proud of her.
