Can a HSSP cadet apply for (or get) an ICSP?

I recently got a Type 7 scholarship, but I haven't gotten into any in-state schools. I will be going to an out-of state public school and was wondering if I can upgrade my existing 3-year type-2 HSSP scholarship to an ICSP Type 1?

I don't know about the ISCP scholarships.... but I know some schools can upgrade your Type 7 scholarship (out of state) to a Type two. I got a type 7 scholarship and one of the school's I am considering (Mississippi State University) said they would automatically upgrade me to a type 2. So, basically I would get the scholarship for 4 years instead of 3 because they would consider me an instate student, not an out of state student. Hope this helps!!

I don't know the answer to that question, but an easier work-around might be trying to obtain in-state tuition at the school by whatever means are available. Some states are easier than others, particularly where ROTC is involved.
