North Carolina... From what I have heard, states on the coast are pretty competitive. Still in HOLD.

RADM Phil Greene, a classmate of mine at the Navy Postgraduate School, maintained an active unlimited tonnage license during his AD career. He was widely respected for his seamanship and operational expertise.
I raced against him when I was at USNA and he was at USMMA and after commissioning, when I went to Missile Officer School, who was sitting next to me but Phil Greene! We bounced around and had many friends and shipmates together over the years and finally, when SonOfOldRetSWO raced for Navy, one of his opponents was one of Phil's kids!

So I am glad to see this, my DS did really well on everything except the run. He was just getting over a really bad cold and was very congested during the run and had a 7.something on the run. His normal time is around 5:48-6:00. He retook the CFA for AFA and ran a 6:12. He was going to have his JROTC instructor submit to USMMA, but I sounds like as long as he passed the first time he should be good and shouldn't have to resubmit the new CFA?
There is “passing” then there is catching their eye by maxing-out multiple events..
