Can anyone offer advice?

Hello all, I'm trying, and have been trying, to get my remedial for medical qualification done. I'm in a really rough spot, because I need some fairly specialized equipment. This means that there was no one contracted in my area when I started the process in early August. As you may know, it's now December, and I'm pretty quickly running out of time to get this through so I can apply to USAFA. The person in charge of contracting someone for me has made no progress in the last four-ish months, and so I've been asking around to MTFs to see if any of them can help me. The answer, almost unanimously, has been "yes, we're supposed to help you, but we can't because you're not connected to a military member who could give you access to a base/ medical center.". My parents are, to put it lightly, not supportive of my interest in the military at all. They're not going to pay for anything. I'm at the point where I have been referred to everyone, and then referred back to the people who were originally referring me places. There's basically no one left to call. Do I have any options here? Has anyone been in a similar boat? This is so aggravating because literally all I have to do is schedule an appointment and I'm done, there's no question on how my remedial will turn out, I'm perfectly healthy, but no one's willing to help me get it done! This seems like an awful reason to have to give up, but it doesn't seem like there's anything I can do. I don't know if anyone here will have any information, but I thought perhaps a crowd more familiar with military procedure would be able to help me out. Thank you!
 
I believe that this poster was already in contact with Mr. Mullen back in July, but I suppose it could be a different issue.
