Hello- my daughter received a remedial letter for her DODMERB. We were expecting this based on her history but interestingly all that was asked was for bloodwork (CBC) The bloodwork is for an unrelated issue. Does this mean that is the only thing that will be asked of her? Or can someone be subjected to more than one remedial?

One of my kids was asked for a separate, unrelated remedial two months after we had breathed a sigh of relief when the first issue was resolved favorably. I am not sure how often this kind of things happens, but we were glad he got his application done early so that he had time to resolve the second remedial and get qualified before Christmas. Good luck.

This is just what I believe based on my own experience and research: DoDMERB will review your entire file and then request any additional information all in one letter (for all conditions). It would be possible to receive more remedials, for example, if they request all medical records and find something there which would require more information later. Hope that helps.

my DS had 3. we would submit one then a different one popped up....

All of the answers above are speculation ,based on a single data point. One data point doesn't make a rule, and doesn't even make a trend. The bottom line, DODMERB "can" process your file in whatever manner it wants, and you "can" get remedials up until the time you get the medical "Q",

Thanks everyone for your input/experiences. I understand that these are just "single data points" but these perspectives are helpful to my daughter to continue to be vigilant and prepared until the final "Q"
