Ok, I probably won't buy a boat but rather keep the money in the retirement jar.

The reason for this milestone is that my older son reached that magic day so many don't think about when they first begin the scholarship process. Son reached the 4 year TIS mark today, fulfilling his final obligation for his ROTC Scholarship. This is that day your son or daughter won't think about much and will probably go by quietly without much notice, but it's still a nice feeling to know they now officially done with all things ROTC.

So here's to all the 2012 ROTC grads that will make it to that mark this year, well done.

You've held onto money for potential payback until now! That's what I call conservative.
Congratulations to #1 son!!!
