Can plebes share?

I've read a lot of threads about parents who send care packages to their plebes, and I've read threads about people sending care packages to "any plebe" for those plebes who do not get care packages from their parents. Makes me curious if plebes can share their care packages with their fellow plebes.

Absolutely ...and highly encouraged. USNA is a melting pot of kids from all sorts of backgrounds and familty situations. Its great that Parents send care packages, but keep in mind there are many that don't hear anything from home all Summer. Plebe Summer is intended to unify and mold the class as a team. Sharing brings people together. (As a caveat, don't over do it--the Plebe that gets a box everyday may attract unwanted attention from the Detailers --and may make others who get nothing from home feel bad).

It is always good to include something in a care package that can be shared. I'm a firstie now and my parents still send me the occasional care package, and there is always something in there for my roommates.
