Yes. Once she gets to those stages of her application for each of those institutions they will request a physical for her. DoDMERB will see this is completed and forward on. ROTC does not normally do physicals until a scholarship is awarded. If she needs a waiver remember that it's the commissioning source that grants those, so each one would make its own decision.
My DD is having her physical on the 18th for ROTC, but hasn't heard from the USNA or USCGA yet, which we anticipate she will. Can this exam and questionnaire be used for ROTC, USNA, and USCGA?
It is very early for ROTC. Not sure even the first boards have met yet. They certainly haven't been released. She might not be awarded one until the last board. This is a long process. Since she is applying to multiple SAs and presumably multiple ROTC scholarships she could hear as early as Sept and not until late April.
What do you mean by "multiple ROTC scholarships?" I thought she would just apply once to the ROTC. This is our first time doing this, so we learning as we go!
Do not make any assumptions about a scholarship. As someone pointed out the boards have not met yet. I suspect there is simply some slack in the DoDMERB system as everyone in the new (upcoming) academic year has already been processed and the new crop isn't really gearing up yet. I believe they are simply taking advantage of the availability of that resource right now.We haven't heard anything about a scholarship from ROTC!
