Can we make an ALO/BGO/MALO forum?

We have some great members who are intricately involved in the SA/ROTC process. I was wondering if there was the ability to make a forum like DODMERB for questions regarding Liaisons?

I feel that at this current time with new candidates for 2015 questions could be lost in the mix.

Additionally, they are the ones that can give more succinct info regarding the application process.

As a BGO myself, I think we are best off posting in the individual SA forums. I have created a BGO "sticky" for the USNA forum explaining who we are and what we do. An ALO or MALO may want to do the same for the USAFA and USMA forums.

Also, there are some differences between ALOs, BGOs, and MALOs -- not sure they are particularly important in the vast scheme of things. However, if a candidate posts in the relevant SA forum, he/she will get an answer based on what happens for that SA.

Finally, while we do our best to provide accurate information, I hesitate to say we are "official" sources. In some sense, we are. However, in other ways, we can only offer our opinions based on experience. We aren't making the actual decisions and there are elements of the admissions process that aren't communicated to us (at least for USNA). Thus, I don't want to overstate the value of our advice.

Nonetheless, we'll keep this in mind as a possible expansion in the future.
