Can you get into the military with Hoshimotos disease?

Good questions. Usually the folks that have it, know these terms:

Asymptomatic = No symptoms; no ill effects; in current vernacular, a lot of COVID19 positive people are "asymptomatic," - no symptoms
Normal thyroid stimulating hormone testing = You should know this as TSH testing. You would need to have normal test results within the previous 12 months which in your terms would be "well controlled." :wiggle:

So would it have to be with or without medication since im already at a very balanced level with my current medication i haven't had to change it

Synthroid is acceptable, as long as those two criteria are met :wiggle:

I don't want you to misundertsand: This is the most accurate statement possible: "Synthroid is acceptable, as long as those two criteria are met."

If you need to interpret it differently, you may. Your Doc will understand my statement. :wiggle:

I would """assume"""" YES, because it is NOT DQ....But...that question needs to be posed to your Recruiter for he/she to get the DEFINITIVE answer :wiggle:
