I am a candidate for the class of 2025 for WP and I have some acne and acne scars. There is minimal scarring on my face and there is almost noacne either, however, I have a lot of scars and acne on my upper arms.

I am undergoing treatment but am not on Accutane.

Can I still attend, or is this a disqualifying condition?

You can definitely attend. If acne was a disqualification, no one would be qualified!! These are teenagers we’re talking about!!😂

Something to keep in mind, is that potentially your treatment could have an impact. For example, accurate you have to be off of for a certain amount of time before reporting.

@sunnytrail acne as a medical condition is different than “typical teenage pimples” which seems to be what your referring to. So it’s a good thing for people to check into this. Kuddos to OP. And, OP, your specific course of treatment can be discussed with the director of DODMERB via the “fast sticky tab” at the top of the DODMERB forum.

Gotcha, my bad!

FACT: This is the standard applied by DoDMERB: " b. Severe nodulocystic acne, on or off antibiotics." :wiggle:
