Can you still do Early Commissioning Program at a MJC even if you don't have a ROTC Scholarship?

Just wondering, because if I don't get the ECP ROTC scholarship, getting my commission in the Army Reserves/Army National Guard early would be what I want.

Yes you can go thru the ECP program without a scholarship. The difference is WITH a scholarship you have to do SMP so you will receive a stipend and guard pay. Without a scholarship you do not do SMP and would not receive any pay until you commission. I believe there is also a service commitment difference but do not know what that is.

My guess is if you apply to an MJC and express interest in the ECP program you will get a scholarship if you have any sort of resume at all.
