What does this mean for my prospect for an appointment considering my nomination source is ranked choice?
I have a nomination from my congressman and JROTC

Can i still get an appointment to the prep school?

What does this mean in regards to the timeliness to a full appointment if offered?

No. Your 3q disqualifies you from the prep school. It’s a double edged sword but good news is you are qualified for admission.

At this stage in the admissions process, would one receive an loa before appointment, or just a straight appointment and BFE?

I can’t think of a reason they would do a LOA this late. Either BFE or TWE from now on for everyone.

I anxiously believed i was 3Q for a long time now after being deemed medically qualified by dodmerb in December, but until I received my pdf, i was not sure.

The academic board determines the 2Q. Even though you may have everything submitted, it seems like the board only recently reviewed your file.

Being 3Q you cannot get into MAPS but if you do not receive an appointment you would be eligible to be considered for an AOG scholarship.
