I have two questions relating to the candidate portal. Is it okay if I update my portal and add extra-curricular activities even though they haven't happened? For example, this is my first year as a varsity letter man. I know that next year will be my second year, but since golf is a spring sport at my school, it will be too late to update my profile. The second question is related to the first question: I got accepted into Boys State, but am I allowed to ask the admissions board to update my profile by adding Boys State even though I haven't attended?

I put track down even though I had yet to do it. Someone in charge told me to put all activities I anticipated participating in. Hope this helps.

Only enter/update what you have actually done/earned.
Reason being that life happens and you may not be doing or earning what you seem sure of.
For example:
Golf - you may get injured and can't play.
Boys State - something may come up that you can't or decide not to attend Boys State.

* Looks like I crossposted with Jayceguy and we gave conflicting answers. Doesn't help much, does it!
My advise is what I've been told via FF info, but it may be RC dependent so maybe a quick email to your RC would be best.

As buff is clearly trying to start an argument  I would agree and say talk to your RC.

Read somewhere on the USMA website that it's alright to list activities you know you'll be participating in, I did and I was fine.

For Boy State, my son updated his portal after he came home from Boy State and a copy of his certificate was required. They know that Boy State is the summer before your Senior year.

My DS also put what he was expecting to do his senior year. There is a place to elaborate and say expecting .

Is it suppose to say not selected
