I am going into my senior year and my application to USNA is complete, including DoDMERB. All I am waiting on is the nomination process. Last spring, I was invited to and attended Candidate Visit Weekend, and then was accepted to (and attended NASS) a week later. Does the fact that I was invited to both of these mean that the Academy is interested in me as a candidate?

An invitation to a CVW is a "sign" that you are considered to be a competitive candidate. It's a good thing. Enjoy your visit. It does not guarantee or imply an appointment. Good luck!

Does Anyone apply for the 2nd round this time and been invited for CVW this September coming up ?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I received two invitations to CVW. I attended one during my junior year, then went to NASS, and then was invited to CVW again for this September. I contacted the admissions office to inform them that it was my second invite, and they told me that they could not accommodate a second visit, and that they had overlooked my previous attendance. Does anyone have any insight here?

You heard it straight from admissions. What is your question?

What do you hope to learn from a 2nd CVW visit that you didn't learn during the 1st CVW or NASS?

I meant I got TWE for class 2019 and now reapply this year and got invitation for CVW for this Sept 3-5 or Sept 17-19 . Just wondering that is anyone here in the same boat as mine?
The reason I asked before I am going to VMI this August and I dont think VMI allows freshman going home till the bread down? I was just trying to ask for any advise?
Thanks

I don't expect to learn anything differently. I am very understanding of the fact that it is not logical for me to attend two CVWs. My question was is the invite a positive/encouraging sign from USNA?

The general guidance is that it means USNA sees you as a competitive candidate. There are tons of candidates each year who go that get appointments and tons who do not. Don't too much into it. It just means at this point you are on track and should complete your application. Remember at this point your file hasn't been scored, Noms haven't been done and even your 3Q status is probably not completed at this point.
