car registration/military orders

My DD is a resident of FL but just purchased a car in CO and would like to register it in FL. The DMV requires military orders for him to do this. Do cadets have DD-214s or some other type of military order to prove their military service?

I thought an exception was that they were attending college out of state. At least it is in Texas.

Tell your DD to go to personnel in Vandy and ask for a copy of her orders.

Orders can be found either with the personnel office or they should be available online. Tell her to ask her AOC/AMT for help finding them. I bought a car while I was in CO and had it registered in FL. A lot of paperwork but not terribly difficult.
