Hello, my DD just received a nomination to USMMA and the CFA for this school is not done but she did complete and submit one for USNA. They look identical except for the running/mile requirement. Does anyone know, this late in the game, whether you can transfer the CFA from one to another given the similarities? Any advice is appreciated!

I'm not sure about transferring to USMMA. I know you can transfer between USNA, USAFA, and USMA, as the CFA is exactly the same. You just ask the admissions officer of the one Academy to send the results to Admissions at the other Academy. But if the CFA for USMMA is different in anyway, I would guess they won't be accepted from USNA. But call Admissions at USMMA to verify.

Hi, thanks! I did call and was told she can transfer from any other service academy. The difference with the run was only .5 miles when I last checked. For USNA it is 1 mile vs. 1.5 for USMMA. But, I may be wrong but the admissions Officer told me she should just have them send it over. And we will do an overnight but the spots are very limited so we have to hurry and do it soon! Thanks for your advice!
