CFA Mile Time

I ran the mile in around 8:15 too. My shuttle run was 10 sec flat.. Basketball was around average, and I max'd the other 3 events. I received appointments to USMA and USAFA so far. Nothing from Navy yet, but I did fine with the 8:15 mile :)
So where are you going if you got offers to all 3? What about if the USNA doesn't give you an offer?

I honestly never thought I'd be in this situation! I am leaning towards West Point right now, but I don't know how I will feel if I get an offer from USNA. Probably still will go to USMA, but will seriously consider Navy.

Agree with other posts here, but add one piece of advice for 2021 applicants, prep now during your junior year so you can score high on CFA at NASS! That's your time to shine while USNA eyeballs are on you.

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between "shining" on the CFA and being perfect (i.e., hitting all the maxes or nearly so). Is this shining for a female:
Bball throw = 57 ft
pull-ups = 2 (incredible accomplishment!!!)
shuttle: 9.05
sit-ups = 95
push-ups = 48
1-mile run = 7:04

As a general rule - don't resurrect older threads especially if your question doesn't directly pertain to it. There are many CFA results threads if you want to search older threads on what people did on the CFA.

I would venture to guess your CFA results would be considered passing. If the CFA is truly P/F, you are in good shape. Even if it isn't P/F you did pretty well across the board.

'Shining' is a relative term and your competition is fierce - you maxed one event, so 'shining' would not be the word I would use. 2 pull-ups may be an incredible accomplishment for you, but it will not knock the socks off anyone at USNA.
