Hi everybody,
I recently took a practice CFA and here are my scores.

Basketball Throw: 73, 75, 73
Shuttle Run: 9.4
Pull-Ups: 10
Sit-Ups: 58
Push-Ups: 55
Mile Run: 6:20

Do you guys think these are passing scores? I am open to any suggestions or constructive criticism.

Yes these scores are probably passing. There have been quite a few CFA threads in the past few weeks and the general consensus is that if you hear nothing, it means you passed. The question you should be asking is, "are these my best scores and did I sell out?" The only event that sticks out to me is your sit-ups because they can be easily and rapidly improved. I went from doing 42 sit-ups to maxing them out at 95 in just a few weeks. I would recommend working on those if you choose to keep training. But ultimately, the decision is up to you. Good luck!

Do you have a specific training circuit that you followed to improve that much?

I am wondering if your form isn’t wrong for the sit-ups since you obviously have a strong core to be able to do the push-ups and pull-ups easily. And you don’t need a circuit for sit-ups just do 2x100 every other day and you’ll be set.

Yeah, I think I may be touching the ground with my whole back when I don't need to. I'll try that out, thanks!

I just did them every single day. Also, when taking the test, I paced myself and knew exactly where I should be at 30 seconds, 60 seconds, and 90 seconds. On the official test day I had a lot of adrenaline so i was actually going faster than ever which helped even more.

I also think you probably have the form wrong on sit-ups. You should be able to hit a little over 50 in the first minute. If fatigue is the reason you can't get more, that's a different story, but if your pace is a lot slower than that, you likely aren't doing them in the most efficient way. There are several threads on this topic already. Here is one https://www.serviceacademyforums.co...of-secret-to-doing-sit-ups-for-the-cfa.23926/
