As a female also, here are some takes:
- Basketball throw. A lot of it comes down to form. It's probably not something you're not strong enough for, just some methods on how to do it. Really get your hips and core engaged and throw it at a 45 degree angle up, not just forward. Think about pulling something to the ground, not pushing. This helped me a lot:
- Pull-ups: Honestly, for the pull-ups, I started with none and got 3. Just start from the ground up. Pull-up negatives, even holding onto a door and leaning back. The assisted pull-up machine, which you can find at maybe a rec center or gym helps. It took me about a month to get it, so you'll be okay. It's better to get at least one versus the FAH.
- Shuttle Run: Make sure you're athletic on this. Stay low when you have to touch the line and always push off the ground. Practice a lot and learn how to use ground force and form to generate speed. Pump your arms and be quick - don't necessarily have to be the fastest person on the planet to do well on this.
Everyone else you look great. I know injuries can be hard but don't give up! I really hope the best for you regarding the Academy, or whatever you do. You got it! Keep working hard
