CFA "score not on file/review pending"

Just curious - if a video is not accepted does the applicant need to recomplete the entire CFA or just the part(s) of the CFA that need to be retaped? Thanks!

Just the video! They will send you an email why you have to submit those videos and what to look out for.
 
Based on what's been reported here, separate videos can be sent. I would get a confirmation from RC before taking that assumption. It could be case by case basis as well and that's why good to check with RC.

I think it‘s interesting that WP would say just redo the videos and not the entire test. How can it be fair to other candidates to do the pull-ups and push-ups without doing the rest of the test? It’s a competition against other applicants. Isn’t the whole point of the CFA to test fitness under timed pressure circumstances? Seems to me that the whole test should be redone if there is any issue with video. JMO

I totally get that. My guess is that video is to gauge a candidates form, but the score to be considered could from the actual test. So if a candidate gets more pull-ups and pushups in separate videos than from actual CFA event, my guess is the CFA event scores would be considered.

DS was told by RC that they were looking specifically at his form, he would not get credit for any more than he did on the original CFA test (push-ups), even if he surpassed it on the retake video.
 
Has anyone who saw this occur at the beginning of December - CFA move from 'On File' (green) back to 'Pending' (yellow) - seen it move back to 'On File' yet? My DS's application has not updated in a month now, while his videos have remained 'On File' (green) the whole time. Just curious if he should get in touch with Admissions to determine if there's an issue. On the positive side, he has not been contacted and told there's a problem.

I am in the same situation, I have not been contacted about any problems, but it is still marked as pending. It has also been about a month.

My DS submitted CFA and was asked to reshoot push-up video. He was also moved to pending in early December and subsequently was moved back to green, On File. I believe he emailed his RC at some point in December. My impression is that they “batch” process the videos. I don’t have any idea how frequently that happens. All in DS was probably under review again for about 2-3 weeks
 
My DS submitted his in the beginning of September and is still pending.
Last step to 3Q.
GUESSING a portion are reviewed once a nomination is given to reduce the amount they need to watch or only review the most qualified ? 🤷‍♂️

Should I be worried if my CFA is still stuck on a yellow amber alert? Having to re-do any videos on January 30th would not be the ideal. Should I prepare some new videos in advance if it gets too close to the deadline? Thanks.

You're more than likely fine. My RC sent out an email stating that CFAs would be reviewed after the 31st deadline, so that's why it's showing pending. Meaning a lot of people are in the same boat as you and I. No need to stress :)
 
DD’s CFA was pending review since early Dec (pull up video do over) ...till this am ...she also got her 3q letter and her nom ( given mid-dec) in the USMA portal. It seemed to happen all at once.
