CFA Score Passing/Good enough? For USNA

I don't know what the minimums are, but for comparison, by scores are:

BB Throw: 65 ft
8 Pull-ups
8.1 Shuttle Run
65 Crunches
74 Pushups
6:45 Mile.

My admissions counselor said these are solid scores. Seeing how you outperformed me in multiple categories you should be rock solid.

I would say besides push ups sit ups you excelled way above standards. I can guarantee these are passing scores

My DS did the following:
BBall Throw: 62
Pull ups: 18
Shuttle Run: 7.7
Crunches: 77
Push-ups; 46
Mile: 7:30

Similar to your numbers, except for his (much) slower mile, and you lower crunches.

It was "accepted" by USNA and he has an appointment to the class of 2023. That being said, as you are probably applying for the class of 2024, and have plenty of time, kept working to get the best results you can.

Keep working and try to max out the "big three" I like to call them: sit ups, push ups, and the mile. Your mile is very strong, but the push ups and sit ups are the other factors admissions looks at closely in the CFA. With that being said, train hard over the winter/spring, keep your mile time low, and take it again in the spring or summer. You have a lot of time so it is definitely worth a re-take in a few months. Good luck!

I'm not sure where this info comes from. You have to pass all elements of the CFA. Beyond that, its really Pass/Fail. Sure, Nom's and Appointments can go back and look at specific CFA scores to determine who wins a slate if all other factors are equal, but trust me, there are plenty of other ways to differentiate among candidates.

I remember my admissions counselor said that the mile Pushups and situps are the three that matter the most. If you can pass those and almost max them that's what they really care about. The others as long as you pass them they are fine with it.
