So just took my CFA for USAFA

I got:
63 foot BBall throw
16 pull ups
8.8 second shuttle run
85 sit ups
54 push ups
5:42 mile (into 23mph wind)

How do these stack up? Are they worth submitting or should I take it again? I am a little worried about pushups as I am 8 short of the average. Is that something to be worried about. I am a cross country runner so the pushups were a little challenging. Plus they are second to last so I was super tired at that point.

Thanks!

Looks like you’ve already seen the averages that USAFA pubkishes on their website. So ask yourself? Can you do better with more practice? Are you satisfied with being average or below average? Some will say passing is passing — time to move on. In a competition, where every point counts, are you OK with that? Let your answers to these questions be your guide.

I'd say those are solid and that your time is better spent doing other things. The push-ups, BBall throw and shuttle run are a little low, but not terrible. If you really think you can do a lot better then it may be worth it to take it again, but if you only think you can do a little better, it probably isn't worth it, spend the time on writing killer essays instead. BBall and shuttle run can be improved pretty easily by learning better technique, and you can always improve your push-ups by doing...more push-ups. It also could help to practice taking the test as a whole, so you have a better idea what the push-ups will feel like when you get there.
