I am a senior applying to multiple service academies and I just took my CFA last week, and I have a question regarding my performance.

    Scores:

    Basketball Throw: 66 ft (max-102 goal-69)
    Pullups: 17 (max-18 goal-12)
    Shuttle Run: 7.8 sec (max-7.8 goal-8.1)
    Sit Ups: 95 (max-95 goal-81)
    Pushups: 75 (max-75 goal-62)
    Mile: 5:30 (max-5:20 goal-6:29)

I feel like I performed well besides the basketball throw, and I was curious how bad that might affect my score. On the Air force admissions website there is a chart that lists the max score and the goal for each part of the assessment, and I am well above the goal on everything besides the basketball throw (69 ft). Is it disqualifying if I have not reached this goal, or am I still competitive with this score?

You’re fine. Submit your scores and move on to the rest of your application and the nomination process. Plus Plan B, C, D....

If you're at or above the goal scores, you're fine. It's pretty much pass/fail, but with your multiple max scores you should submit it and work on everything else.
