Well, How are these scores?

BB Throw - 96'
Push ups - 60
Sit ups - 72
Pull Ups - 6
Shuttle run - 9
Mile Run - 7:25

Here's the link to the whole CFA testing info. It shows average scores and max scores for each event. You want to shoot for at least average in each event, but coming closer to the max in any will help the overall score and balance any slightly lower ones. I've read some of the academies weight some of the tests higher than others, but not specifics (assume the run, pushups, and situps will always be the most critical since they're on the normal PT tests the cadets/mids take as well).

I gotta ask, how did your son get such a crazy good score for the b-ball throw?

BB Throw

He practiced only a couple of times... so I really don't know. He is an OL on his high school football team so perhaps that just built the right muscles for BB throw, but obviously not the right muscles for pullups...

I am hopeful these scores will be good enough... he has the nom and the LOA and the medical....

my crossed fingers are tired....

I think those will pass, which is all he needs with the LoA. But, I know of two cases that only got 4 and still passed. Did you submit them?
