Hi everyone,

I have almost all my application completed for west point. the only thing I have left is the cfa video. We forgot to record when I took my cfa test. My question is whether or not I have to hit the same numbers I did for my last cfa(15/16 pull ups and 57 push up) for the video. Am i able to instead record myself doing 5 pull ups and 25 push ups? Asking because I only realized this a week ago and am not in the same physical condition as I was 2 month ago(grades were dropping a little too low).

Thank you!

It is conceivable that submitting a video with scores that are passing will be sufficient even if different than the scores you previously submitted. But, I would be surprised if West Point would accept this. I would expect they would have wanted a fully compliant CFA submission with a compliant video. The two month delay would be a red flag that something about your prior scoring is amiss, especially when coupled with such a significant difference in the performance. This is definitely a situation that would scream for you to get in touch with your RC. You have mere days to submit a fully compliant CFA and video - you can't afford to take anonymous advice on SAF. There is no time left for you to do anything other than to contact your RC and to fully explain the situation. Good luck!

Get off of the internet and get to work. You do not have much time left. I do not know if West Point will allow videos taken on a separate day, so email your ALO or RC to see if you can get another CFA date before the deadline. If not, submit videos and pray. Best of luck

Did you ask your RC what to do? There are other who have had to do videos outside of the full CFA. I would find out what they want ASAP.

Do this ^^^^ today.
This is a painful lesson in paying attention to detail.
The teacher who administered DS CFA says that the link he received from WP to submit scores does not request the videos. How are the videos submitted?

Videos are submitted by the candidate under the "Upload Docs" section in your portal.

Make sure they're in the proper format and size... it's all outlined under "Upload Docs." If you have to you can edit the quality if it's too large, I had to do that for my pushups.

Thank you for your help so far. DS submitted the videos and they were received but the portal says they weren't submitted. Does this mean they were rejected? and if so, what does that mean?

I had same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago. I uploaded the videos, I could see and play them but USMA admissions said there was an issue. I re-uploaded them again and I am still awaiting the CFA section to turn to a green check mark. There are individual check marks for the two separate required videos.

So should he resubmit them or wait for USMA to contact him?

Perhaps you updated them in either an improper format or just too large size-wise?

Video uploads must be MP4, MOV, 3GP, WMV and 150MB OR LESS
